AXIMA Services was set up in Belgium in 1963 under the name "Compagnie Générale de Chauffe" (General Heating Company).

Originally a 42.5 % subsidiary of the Fabricom Group in 1970, AXIMA Services is now 100% owned by the SUEZ group.

The development of AXIMA Services in Belgium has been meteoric: that success is demonstrated by an annual growth in double figures for the past decade.

Since 1997, AXIMA Services has devoted much effort to its activities outside Belgium: in France, the UK, the Netherlands, the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg, Greece and in the Central European nations.

Since januari 2005, AXIMA Services is a member of the "SUEZ Energy Services"(SES) entity of the SUEZ group. This arm of the SUEZ group has approximately 67,000 staff in Europe and achieved in 2007 a turnover of 11,3 billion €, which represents 23,7% of the turnover of all the SUEZ group.
